Why is the AI Learning & Teacher Tracking tab not visible?

Short answer

The tab is added only when two conditions are met together: the user has view permission in the WAF area (without this permission, the WAF screen of the vService does not open at all) and at least one of the AI Learning or Teacher switches is on in the Learning Methods card of the vService (AI Learning & Teacher Tracking). There is no need for records to exist or for a period to be selected. The tab exists only on vServices with WAF protection on, that is, on HTTP vServices. Its name changes according to the method that is on: if only AI learning is on, AI Learning Tracking; if only Teacher is on, Teacher Tracking; if both are on, AI Learning & Teacher Tracking; for this reason, the tab thought to be missing is often the tab that carries a different name. Conditional Learning alone does not make the tab appear. When the method is turned off, the tab is removed, but the past records are not deleted and are listed when the method is turned on again. While AI learning is on, the tab opens with an empty AI Learning Tracking view and waits for Refresh; if only Teacher is on, it opens with the Teacher History view.

Common Misconceptions

• "If the tab is empty, learning is not working." AI Learning Tracking does not fetch data on opening; Refresh is needed.
• "Turning the method off deletes the history." The tab is removed, the records are not deleted.
• "The tab is visible while Conditional learning is on as well." Only AI learning or Teacher makes the tab appear.
